Intervenciones de enfermería en paciente con ansiedad recibido en servicio de emergencia: revisión sistemática

Este estudio se llevó a cabo mediante una revisión sistemática para evaluar las intervenciones de enfermería en la reducción de la ansiedad en pacientes en servicios de emergencia. Aplicando la metodología PRISMA y el Modelo de Práctica Basada en Evidencia de Johns Hopkins, se analizaron artículos publicados entre 2014 y 2024 en bases de datos como Medline, PubMed y Scopus. Se seleccionaron 22 estudios que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión, abordando intervenciones farmacológicas y no farmacológicas implementadas por enfermería. Los resultados mostraron que estrategias como la presencia familiar durante procedimientos, técnicas de relajación, musicoterapia, aromaterapia, comunicación terapéutica y modelos de atención humanizados reducen significativamente la ansiedad en pacientes adultos y pediátricos. Se destacó la importancia de educar al paciente y su familia, así como la formación continua del personal de enfermería para garantizar la eficacia de estas intervenciones. El estudio concluye que la integración de estas estrategias en la práctica clínica es esencial para optimizar la experiencia del paciente y mejorar los resultados en entornos de emergencia. Se sugiere realizar investigaciones futuras que superen las limitaciones actuales y desarrollen nuevas intervenciones basadas en evidencia para el manejo integral de la ansiedad.
